What to report

You may write to us about any of the following:

• Metadata errors — an incorrect title, author name, or category placement (for example, a work listed under “Exploring History, Empires & Change” that belongs in “Greece, Rome & Antiquity — Reader’s Shelf”).
• File or reading issues — a file that will not open, displays garbled text, or fails on a particular device or browser.
• Accessibility problems — difficulty navigating a book with screen‑reader software, missing alt text, or poor contrast in the reading interface.
• Copyright or rights concerns — if you believe a title in the catalogue is not in the public domain in your jurisdiction, or if you hold rights to a work and wish to discuss its inclusion.
• General editorial observations — suggestions for new additions, thoughts on the reading notes, or comments on the catalogue’s organisation.

What to include in your message

To help us address your report quickly and accurately, please include as many of the following details as possible:

• The exact URL (web address) of the page you are referring to.
• The full title of the ebook and, if known, the author or editor.
• The file format you are using (e.g., EPUB, PDF, HTML, MOBI).
• The device, browser, or reading software where the problem occurred.
• A clear description of the observed problem — what you expected and what actually happened.
• If your report involves copyright or rights, any supporting information you can provide (such as the jurisdiction and your relationship to the work).

What we do with your message

Each message is read by the catalogue editor. We review reports in the order they arrive and work to correct verified errors. Because we are a small independent project, we may not be able to reply to every message individually, but we take every report seriously.
